1st Kanata Scout Group - Bike Exchange and Sale 2027

Thank you to everyone who came to the 1st Kanata Bike Exchange and Sale 2026.  Have a great year of cycling and hope to see you at the Bike Exchange and Sale in 2027.

Each year 1st Kanata Scout Group hosts an Annual Bike Exchange and Sale, selling hundreds of bikes, as a service to the greater Ottawa community and to raise funds to support the Scouting programs in 1st Kanata Scout Group.

Location of the Bike Exchange and Sale will be confirmed in Jan 2027.

Want to Buy a Bike? The floor is open from 8:30 to 11:00 am Sat 24 Apr 2027 at the Mlacak Arena, 2500 Campeau Dr, Kanata.  The lineup starts early.  Cash or cheque with ID only.  Bike prices range from $10 to $300,  typically 33% of the retail store price.

Want to Sell a Bike? Bike drop-off is from 6-8 pm Fri 23 Apr 2027 or 7 to 8:30 am Sat 24 Apr 2027 at the Mlacak Arena, 2500 Campeau Dr, Kanata.  $1 fee per item for putting it in the sale.  Sellers set a fixed price.  If an item sells, 1st Kanata keeps a 20% commission, sellers collect their 80% of the price (and any unsold items) between 11:30 am - Noon on Sat 25 Apr.  Unsold items not collected are treated as donations.  Clean, working bikes in good condition have the best chance of selling. Training wheels, bike trailers, bike racks, strollers can be sold. Helmets and E-bikes cannot be sold.

Unlike previous years, bike donations are not currently being accepted.
