The 1st Kanata Scout Group is hosting a Rainbarrel sale on May 11th, 2013 at the Beaverbrook Mall (map). $55 rain barrels are available for order now.
Rainbarrels provide homeowners a free source of water as well as off-load the city of Ottawa's infrastructure during major rainstorms.
All proceeds help Scouts go further in experiencing the great outdoors with distant camping trips or other scouting activities. This summer, the Scouts are canoeing part of the Rideau Canal, and the Venturers are canoeing deep in Algonquin park.
Please visit our webpage on the Rainbarrel.ca website for more information and where Rainbarrel products can be ordered or reserved for pick-up on May 11th.
In order to guarantee a barrel is available, please reserve or pre-pay online at the link above. Reservations require cash payment on May 11th. Sorry no debit or credit cards accepted.
Pick-up time is 10:30 am to 1:30 pm.
If you have a bike for sale or wish to sell it or donate it, please check out our Annual Bike Exchange held at the end of April.
